Club Membership
For regular Thursday club nights, league teams and club tournaments. Adults and juniors can both become Club Members.
Membership fee
Annual subscription: £40, with reductions available for members joining later in the year. Members are encouraged to join the English Chess Federation; the appropriate ECF membership is required for rated league or tournament play.
Juniors who pay for Junior Chess sessions receive 50% off Club Membership, reducing the annual Club Membership subscription to £20. Juniors joining the regular club without paying for Junior Chess sessions pay the standard £40.
Registering someone under 18? Please use the Junior Chess registration page so the Club can record the necessary parent/guardian and safeguarding information.
Club Membership registration
For adult members, complete the form below and press Submit club registration. The form is submitted directly through the website; you do not need to send a separate email.
Payment
After registering, please pay the appropriate fee by bank transfer using the member’s surname as the reference.
